To continue to teach students how to be a positive digital citizen, using the model.
    8. Progress made across the 3 years of the cluster.
Teachers see eLearning as an inherent part of teaching and learning. They love their new big screens, and use them everyday to model and share learning experiences with students. The demand for new technology is now coming from teachers, as they can see the benefits that they have for their students.

Have ongoing reflective practice about e-learning developments in their school
Principal has joined discussion groups on the VLN and receives regular updates of these discussions - too many most of the time. I go into view these discussions once a fortnight to keep up to date with trends and thinking. I have contributed twice to these discussions.
I have used these discussions and other articles to maintain a forward thinking approach to developments in our school for the future. These have been the basis of on-going discussion with our ICT Lead teacher, too.
VLN discussions, plus emails and visits to other schools
    Discussions logged in my diary.
Plans made for 2013 PD and budget buying.
In 2013 i will continue to belong to these groups.
The 2013 PD plan for the school will lead into the Operational Plan and be highlighted in our budget and PD outcomes.

    2. All schools will develop and share a 2012 digital learning policy/strategy.
This term we have finalised an e-learning section of our school Curriculum Development Plan (School Scheme). It includes expectations of how we want ICT to be used regularly throughout our school and how we want to encourage and develop good Digital Citizen's.
CDP e-Learning section finished and ready for implementation from 2013.
As part of the appraisal process and on-going PD, this will be highlighted and checked up on.

    3. School strategic plans will reflect the cluster goals as well as school needs.
School Strategic plan has been shared and comments sought. Our school has been actively involved in all cluster-wide PD and opportunities.

    7. Progress made across the 3 years of being in the ICT Cluster.
Three years ago this school was a different place. We have made good, strategic decisions because we have been a part of this ICT cluster. Teachers have all been involved and committed to e-Learning and have gained much in their understanding of ICT pedagogy, shared values and implementation ideas, plus focussed on how ICT could be used to enhance learning. The BoT have been committed to the development of our school into using ICTs by finding ways of resourcing hardware, upgrading the infrastructure and ensuring that the teachers have been supplied with equipment that makes learning with ICT easier.
Amount of ICTs used as part of normal learning. CDP, budget and PD plans. Teacher capability and articulation of e-leanring in our school
To continue this path, upgrading equipment, ensure SNUP happens, buying schedule adhered to, PD continues and CDP referred to often (termly. All this keeps the focus on ICT in our school).

    6. Promoting and modeling digital citizenship.
I continue to promote digital citizenship through responsible use of all IT equipment and resources.
    7. Progress made across the 3 years of being in the ICT Cluster.
There has been huge growth across the three years. The most noticeable growth has been student engagement. Children are confidently using a variety of technologies within the classroom programme. Evidence can be observed during class assemblies, through class blogs and wikis and through entries in the Manawatu Digi Awards competition. ICT is integrated into most classroom activities and it is now rare to go into a classroom and not see evidence of ICT in use.
Parents are interacting through class blogs, online bookings, newsletters and online learning activities.
